Securing your access and data

We understand that data security is in the forefront of everyones mind these days, and rightly so. While we have no desire to expose all our methods of security, we do require you to undertake certain tasks to secure your data.

First, we require you to have a secure password. By this we mean a password that is at least 8 characters in length, contains a mixture or uppercase and lowercase characters, at least one number and at least one special character.

special characters are defined as one of the following:

( [ ~ ` ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - + = | { } ' : ; . , < > / ? ] )

Do not use the same password as you use on any other website, and do not share your login details with any other person.

Additionally, we insist on multi-authentication (sometimes referred to as dual authentication or 2 Step verification). Operatives will receive a text message and Sponsor/Employers receive a code via email.

Why do we insist on this?

Multi-factor Authentication adds another layer of security, supplementing the username and password model with a code that only a specific user has access to (typically sent to something they have immediately to hand). This authentication method can be easily summed up as a combination of "something you have and something you know”.

Two-factor and Multi-factor authentication solutions are used by businesses of all sizes – seeking to keep confidential data secure. They can help to lower the likelihood of identity theft, as well as phishing scams, because criminals cannot compromise log-ins with usernames and password details alone.
